Rob Ryan Interviews With Cowboys.

Bob Carr SBReport..net

Rob Ryan the current defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns has interviewed with the Cowboys about thier now vacant D-Coordinator position.  Rob Ryan is of course the twin brother of current Jets head coach Rex Ryan and like his brother is a very outspoken and colorful coach. Could Ryan the outspoken guy and the Princeton Graduate Jason Garrett really work together.

Earlier this week the Cowboys had talked to 49ers Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky about possible taking over the same position in Dallas however it looks as though he is headed to San Diego to be there Defensive Coordinator. Dave Wannstedt has been on the Cowboys radar although he runs a 4-3 defense and Cowboys don’t have the personnel in place to run that.

I think adding someone like Rob Ryan would add excitement and fire to the entire Cowboys team not to mention the defense. I think the hiring woul be a great addition to Garrett’s staff as you would have a verteran coach to a defense that has the personnel to overcome a bad year. Should Rob Ryan be the new coordinator? Sound Off!!!
