Former Dallas Cowboys tight end Dan Campbell was in town Tuesday, interviewing to be the assistant offensive line coach for his former team. He would serve under Hudson Houck. Campbell said he would be back in town in a few days to meet with Houck.

[Tashard] helped his trade status. Do not see him coming back. He has value. It’s time for the Cowboys to cash in on it. I like Tashard and think he should have a bigger role. Just get the feel that Garrett is not enamored with him and would not resist a trade. Remember, Garrett ran the offense this year and rarely used Choice until forced to by injuries.

University of Alabama assistant coach Bobby Williams interviewed Wednesday with new Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett for a position on the Cowboys’ coaching staff, according to, the blog home of the National Football League club’s official website,

Martellus worked hard, played hard and did a solid job in limited opportunities. He doesn’t make a ton and would be a solid replacement if Witten was ever hurt. He’s not the same guy from 2 years ago.
