Report: Sherman out in Dallas.

Rob Phillips DallasCowboys.com

According to Calvin Watkins ESPNDallas.com the Cowboys will cut ties with Ray Sherman the Cowboys Wide Recievers coach. This is Jason Garrett first significant move since becoming the Cowboys new head coach. Sherman has been big in the development of rookie Dez Bryant and helped Miles Austin explode onto the scene last season.

This is really the first sign that Coach Garrett is taking control and truly making this his team, Jones and Sherman had a wonderful respect for each other so this decision was totally Garrett. However it is believed that Jason will renew his brother John’s contract which as also expired.

Sound off Cowboys Fans, I am a bit surprised that Sherman is not coming back. What do you think? Should Sherman’s cotract have been renewed?
