Texans looking at Cowboys Linebackers Coach?

Days after hiring former Cowboys coach Wade Phillips as their new Defensive Coordinator, the Houston Texans have asked the Cowboys permisson to interview their Linebackers coach Reggie Herring. Although the Cowboys have not granted permisson to the Texans he will proably end up being interviewed eventually.

Herring was the Linebackers coach from 2002-2003 for the Houston Texans, before going to NC State and being their Defensive Coordinator, he also worked at Arkansas as a Defensive Coordinator before joining the Cowboys and working under Phillips.
