Cowboys Pro Bowl linebacker DeMarcus Ware finished of the 2010-11 NFL season with an impressive three-sack performance. The game left Ware with a total of 15.5 sacks on the season.
“Every time I looked up 94 was making a play,” interim coach Jason Garrett said. “He put tremendous pressure on their quarterback … We talk about his physical ability and that’s apparent, but his approach, how he competes is what was on display today and that was impressive.”
Barring some once-in-a-lifetime performance by a member of the Rams or Seahawks, Ware’s 15.5 sacks will be enough to earn him the sack title for the second straight year. Ware now has the most (20 sacks in 2008) and second-most sacks (15.5 this year) in a season by a Dallas Cowboy.
