Rex Grossman To Start Over Donovan McNabb; Thank You, Shanahan

Wow. That is all I can say.

There have been many puzzling moves this NFL season, but perhaps two have come from the poorly run Washington Reskins franchise.  We all know of the Albert Haynesworth fiasco, but now there is something even bigger… the Redskins have benched Donovan McNabb (again) and Rex Grossman will get the start against Dallas.

This will be Grossman’s first start since 2008.

It is being reported that many players are upset with the decision to go with Grossman and the way in which the coaching staff has handled the situation. At this point, odds favor McNabb leaving Washington at the end of the season for a team in need of a quarterback.

I would personally like to thank the Shanahan’s for their poor handling of the quarterback. In a game that put either Washington or Dallas in the basement of the NFC East, it seems that the Redskins are trying everything in their power to fail. Going with Grossman over McNabb is unbelievable, but thank you. Thank you for making this game much easier to win.
