Sean Lee Named NFC Defensive Player Of The Week

Cowboys rookie linebacker Sean Lee made two huge plays for Dallas in this past week’s game against Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Lee intercepted Manning twice. The first pick Lee returned 31-yards for a touchdown, while his second interception set up the game-winning field goal in overtime.

Lee also recorded nine tackles on the afternoon.

He becomes the third Cowboys player to earn Defensive Player of the Week this season. Fellow rookie Bryan McCann earned the award for his week 10 101-yard interception return for a touchdown and DeMarcus Ware earned the honor for his dominating game against the Houston Texans earlier this season.
