Interim head coach Jason Garrett took the podium after the Dallas Cowboys 38-35 overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts to discuss the big win for Dallas and their keys to victory. One of the key’s to victory was keeping the ball out of Peyton Manning’s hands.
“We had to run the football, and the byproduct of running the football well is you keep Peyton Manning on the sideline and keep him out of the game and prevent him from making a big play,” Garrett said. “We had to run the ball at these guys. They’re great pass rushers. To be able t0 run the football downhill at them was big.”
