Dez Bryant Suffers Broken Ankle In Win Over Colts

Some awful news for the Dallas Cowboys. Sensational rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant suffered a broken ankle while returning a kickoff in the fourth-quarter of today’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Bryant had been nursing ankle injuries all year and his ankle finally had enough.

In his rookie year, Bryant had made an impact returning kicks but this is a prime example of why you should not put such an important player back in a vulnerable position. Bryant finishes his rookie campaign with six receiving touchdowns and two on punt returns. In a season where there wasn’t much for Cowboys fans to get excited about early on, Bryant provided a spark to the team and showed flashes of his potential that will lead him to being one of the league’s best receivers in the near future.

We wish Bryant a speedy and full recovery.
