Scott Chandler Cut; Martin Rucker Moved To 53-Man Roster

by Roster

The Dallas Cowboys made some roster moves today at tight end. Scott Chandler, who had zero catches on the season but saw some time as starting fullback, was cut from the team and former Cleveland Browns fourth-round pick Martin Rucker has been promoted to the 53-man roster.

Rucker was on the team’s practice squad all season before the recent promotion. He provides more of a receiving threat than Chandler, but his main impact will be on special teams.
