Tony Romo Could Return On Christmas Day

The Dallas Cowboys have been playing well with Jon Kitna running the show in Big D, but let’s not forget about starting QB Tony Romo… the coaching staff hasn’t. If everything continues to work out, the Dallas Cowboys could receiving a nice Christmas gift on the 25th of December. Romo could return for the Cowboys last two games — Christmas Day in Arizona and at Philadelphia on January 2nd.

Dallas Cowboys rookie Bryan McCann has gone from practice squad member to one of the most talked about members of the team in just three weeks. Whether it be his 101-yard pick six or 97-yard punt return for a touchdown, McCann has done nothing but make big plays while he’s been on the field. Bryan McCann Wins Another Award

Last week, Cowboys rookie cornerback Bryan McCann was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week following his Week 10 performance against the Giants which included a franchise record 101-yard interception return for a touchdown. This week, McCann is adding more hardware to his trophy case. McCann has been named this week’s NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his 97-yard punt return for a touchdown in Dallas’ win against the Lions. Drew Brees Is A Fan Of Jason Garrett

It was no secret that Drew Brees was close to signing with the Miami Dolphins back in 2006. Ultimately, the team made a huge mistake and passed over him because they were scared off by his shoulder injury. While Brees was talking with Miami, Cowboys interim head coach Jason Garrett was the quarterbacks coach for the ‘Phins. After all of the talking, Brees came away very impressed with Garrett . “One of the things I really liked about Miami was Jason Garrett,” Brees said.

Felix Jones Misses Another Practice

Cowboys leading rusher Felix Jones missed Tuesday’s practice with a bruised right hip that was suffered early in the third quarter in Dallas’ win over the Detroit Lions. Jones was on the field, but he was in his sweats. While Jones is sore, he does have expectations to play in Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the New Orleans Saints.

Cowboys Players Are Playing For Their Jobs

Yes, it is true. The Dallas Cowboys are still mathematically alive for the NFL playoffs. Dallas would need a lot of help to reach the postseason, so the players are focusing on bettering themselves each game and playing for their jobs. Garret Holds Extra Practice On Monday, Saints Take Day Off

Just add one more thing that interim head coach Jason Garrett is reforming in Dallas. According to a report by Nakia Hogan ofThe Times-Picayune, the Cowboys had a walkthrough practice at Valley Ranch on Monday, the day after their 35-19 win against Detroit. As most know, the typical NFL team has an off day following game day. But because of the short week, Garrett is taking advantage of getting some extra time while the New Orleans Saints are sleeping.

Jason Witten Talks Second Half Adjustments Over Lions
