Root for the Giants Tonight to Keep Dallas’s Playoff Hopes Alive

The Cowboys’s playoff hopes are barely alive at 3-7, but there is a chance.  The Cowboys split the season series with the NY Giants and have two games remaining against the Eagles.  This is all predicated on the Cowboys winning the remainder of their games.  If the Eagles lose tonight and the two remaining games to the Cowboys, they will have 6 losses on the season minimum.  The Cowboys would own the tiebreaker against the Eagles and consequently would need the Eagles to lose  only once more this season to have an advantage.

There are plenty of additional contenders for the two wild card spots, but it is bleak for the Cowboys.
