IRVING, Texas – Just like there have been tons of reasons why this team struggled so badly in the first half of the season, there seem to be just as many to why they actually came together and won Sunday in the Meadowlands.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was interviewed on 105.3 The Fan on Friday to discuss his promoting of Jason Garrett and fans’ complaints with him as general manager and owner. Here are some highlights:

The offensive line has been the Cowboys’ biggest weakness this year, but did their job admirably to protect Jon Kitna on Sunday. What does it take to get that performance more regularly?

One game certainly does not a career make, but the Dallas Cowboys were the biggest underdogs on the board this past weekend, according to NFL odds, and they went in and punked the New York Giants in their house on Sunday in the debut of Jason Garrett as the team’s interim head coach.
