W2W4 V. Titans

Physicality: The Titans play tough physical football. They are a reflection of their head coach, Jeff Fisher. This Cowboys team has been inconsistent running the ball. Yes there have been offensive line issues. Passing is about timing and choreography. Running is about want to. You have to want to move a man against his will.

Chris Johnson: He is well off pace for his desired goal of 2500 rushing yards. It isn’t a surprise considering most runners don’t come close to a reprisal of their previous season. He is explosive and can dominate any single game. Cowboys absolutely will have to exercise discipline in regards to gap control.

Buehler: In what may end up being a close low scoring game, Buehler must be perfect on kickoffs as well as field goals.

Linebacking rotation: Sean Lee is healthy and should see significant time on first and 2nd downs with Brooking continuing to play nickel linebacker. The concern is putting rookie against one of the most dynamic runners in all of football. If one tackle is missed, the outcome of the game could be at stake.

Jerry Jones pride: Felix Jones was taking before Rashard Mendenhal, Chris Johnson, and Matt Forte. Arguably Jones has been the least productive runner of the 2008 draft class. Expect Jones to receive an inordinate amount of carries to justify his draft slot.
