Does 3-0 after byes suggest a forthcoming 4-2?

During the last three years under the watchful eye of Wade Phillips, the Dallas Cowboys have won the game immediately following their bye. In 2007, they beat Philadelphia 38 to 17; in 2008, they beat Washington 14 to 10; and in 2009, the Cowboys beat the Atlanta Falcons 37 to 21. Call it rest or additional prep-time, but expect a Cowboys victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Looking a little deeper, the Cowboys then beat the following two teams to go 3-0 after their bye in all three years. Schedule has something to do with it, but if you are looking for a reason to be optimistic, this is as good of a reason as any.
