Dez Bryant Is A “Michael Irvin Type” Receiver And He’s A Cowboy

The Dallas Cowboys and Dez Bryant is a perfect marriage on draft day. As Jon Gruden just said, Dez Bryant is a “Michael Irvin type” wide receiver.

Somehow, flimsy media reports that Bryant was going to be the next whiny “me-me-me” wide receiver pushed him far enough down the draft board for the Dallas Cowboys to make the move that Jerry Jones could not pass up.

Dez Bryant is DeSean Jackson times 10.

I don't know about "DeSean Jackson times 10" just yet. DJ is a beast! But if DB does produce like DJ, I'll be one happy Boyz fan!!!!!

Dezzzzs gonna make team owners cry,Great job jerry.

I am sooo happy, Dez is the real deal and it proves Jerry is willing to atone, and pay for Roy Williams. I thought he would dodge Dez because of Roys payday but he did the right thing and got the BIGGEST playmaker in the draft.I will tell you all how he looks at training camp in Oxnard..HAHA,

Well said I think it was a great pick. The only thing that bothers me is his agent being the same one that held Crabtree out from the 49ers. This off season will be interestiing now.

I was doing Mario Jumps all around the house once I saw we traded up. Dez is an instant contributor and his talent is undeniable. Yes we could of used some line help and maybe even a safety but you can't pass up on Dez. Not to many defenses have the depth to cover M. Austin, R. Williams, J. Witten and now D. Bryant. This move shows how confident this organization is in D. Free.

I'm beyond thrilled. Our offense just got really scary.

He is Michael Irvin with speed..Plus he returns punts and kickoffs..

Great selection and see ya Roy..
