Per ESPN, Nick Folk (former Dallas Cowboys kicker) signed with the NY Jets to a one year deal. Both the Jets and Giants will be moving from the swirling winds of Giants Stadium into a new statdium. If the winds continue to swirl at the new stadium, concerns may arise quickly in the 2010 season about whether he has the confidence to kick in such a hostile environment.
The pressure from the media shouldn’t be any greater than it was in Dallas, however. Though this has been covered on several occasions, a quick look at Jay Feely’s kicking performance last year suggests that he had his greatest struggles at home. Otherwise he was a consistent kicker and the Dallas Cowboys certainly consider him as a free agent.
