I hope Garrett runs the ball down their throats so we can set up the pass. Thats the only way we win this game. Last December TC proved he could carry the rock especially against top ranked D’s. To make matters even worse the O-line was more banged up last year than it is this year so to me unless the Lameskins completely shut down our running game there is no excuse for not running the ball.

kd, you are right. the run was’nt working….the way the cowboys are appling it to our offense. yes both of our top backs are gimp. but if the run is’nt working garret must find away to make it work. when you have a line that averages over 326 lbs. with 3 pro-bowlers on it, i think joe thiesman is right. you just start jammin in down someones throat STRAIGHT AHEAD. forget about all the gagget shit. the draws the misdirections. you just give it to barber and follow the 370lbs leonard davis that has to be good for 5 yards a carry? and david….that is it. you are it. that tells it all. that means that we will not win with garrett and the way he play calls games now. i said this before. it ain’t romo. it ain’t roy droppin a pass or 2. i ain’t witten covered by a probowl corner. IT’S GARRETT. 1-16 PROVES IT.

Here is a stat that says it all..The Boys are 1-16 this decade when they run the ball less than 20 times….1-16…..

I can understand if that was the case after 15 carries of less than 4 yard or something. It just was not like that Barber came out good then Felix came out (on a recently injured and braced leg) and did not do so great. Barber did not even really getting any more chances. I forget the number I believe it was like 11 carries between 3 running backs. Your right KD you just can’t defend Garrett on a stat like that.

The run wasn’t working guys… Outside of the first rush attempt of the game (13 yards) and the wildcat we weren’t getting anywhere with it. I agree you can’t just give up because they stop you… what… like 4 times? But still he just wasn’t confident we could run…

Nevermind I give up, there’s no use defending him, you just can’t.. He screwed up, hopefully he fixes it. I can’t see justifying abandoning the run like that. It was even for a short while at like 13 rushes and 14 pass plays but he uses any excuse he can to abandon the run.

I can no longer defend Garrett… I can’t defend Roy…

For heaven’s sake these guys need to start defending themselves…
