Games Notes: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos

If the Dallas Cowboys go into Mile  High and act confident and play like they will win and can win, this game against the Denver Broncos shouldn’t be that big of a deal, desptire the Broncos 3-0 record.

The Broncos barely squeezed by the Bengals and then beat the Browns and the Raiders. That’s not exactly hot competition and none of those teams is going to prepare you for what the Cowboys can throw at them.

  • Even with Marion Barber probable with a leg injury and Felix Jones is out with a knee injury, Tashard Choice is capable of lighting the Broncos up. Don’t fret that Choice is going to get a bulk of the carries today. He can do it.
  • Tony Romo vs Kyle Orton? Orton is having a break-out year with the Broncos and surprisingly he hasn’t thrown an interception, with three touchdowns. Dallas runs and passes for more yards than the Broncos but the Cowboys must avoid what appears to be a very tight secondary for the Broncos.
  • DeMarcus Ware must get off the snap and if that means Victor Butler comes in and Anthony Spencer is benched, then so be it. Wade Phillips has to give the rookie another chance today.
  • The defense will have the opportunity to stuff another decent running game, as the Broncos rush for 158 yards a game, still 40 less than the Cowboys.
