Felix Jones Injures Quad

The reason Tashard Choice saw some carries yesterday is because speedy tailback Felix Jones injured his quad against Tampa Bay. Here is a report on the injury.

“Well, Felix got banged up a little bit on the running play when he got hit on the thigh,” Wade Phillips said on Monday. “He didn’t play quite as much as we thought he was going to. I believe Barber had 30 plays, Felix had 15 and Choice had seven. That’s about how it went.”

As good and as fast as Jones is, he is worthless if he continues to get injured every time he gets hit hard. Not only do the Cowboys need a healthy Jones against the New York Giants, the team needs him healthy all year.
