In this week’s Dallas Cowboys injury report, you’ll see a discouraging sign in that the top three wide receivers all have some problem:
WR Miles Austin – hamstring – He should be able to play this week.
LB Curtis Johnson – hamstring-Ruled out for today.
WR Kevin Ogletree – eye – He had a great preseason before an eye contusion knocked him out. He’s expected to be fine for Sunday.
S Michael Hamlin – arm – He broke his arm and will miss probably 5 weeks.
CB Alan Ball – concussion- He practiced this last week. He’s the fourth cornerback on the team.
LB Jason Williams – ankle – He has a sprained ankle that will keep him out for 5 weeks. It was a high ankle sprain, which are the worst.
WR Roy Williams – shoulder- He will start and practiced the past two weeks.
WR Sam Hurd – quad- He is expected to be ready for the game today, but the coaches may use him sparingly.
FB Deon Anderson – knee-Had a knee scope, but practiced last week. He is the only fullback on the Cowboys.
QB Stephen McGee – knee-He’s not going to see playing time this year, and he is still recovering from a sprained MCL.
