Tony Romo and Roy Williams Still Not Clicking

As the Dallas Cowboys approach their first preseason game tomorrow night against the Oakland Raiders, there are still question marks about how good Tony Romo and Roy Williams will be together.

After following various twitter feeds from camp, it appears that Williams and Romo had a few decent practices together, but the final one before tomorrow’s game wasn’t pretty. There were overthrows, dropped passes and very little focus coming from the duo.

Maybe the most embarrassing moment was when Romo threw an end zone route pass and Williams rolled out at the 5-yard line, which doesn’t make a ton of sense.

At the end of the season last year, Williams said that all he needs is one training camp with Romo to get in his groove with the Pro Bowl quarterback. He is getting that, and so far we’ve seen inconsistency.

Everyone has a bad day or two of practice, especially when you're in the second week of training camp. It's too early to start worrying that Roy and Tony won't be on the same page, especially after this one bad practice.
