Not As Big As Possible Phillies Trade, But Washington Redskins Say Not Signing Michael Vick ‘At This Juncture’

Less than one day since I reported that the Washington Redskins are strongly considering signing Michael Vick to a two-year deal, the head coach says there is no interest “at this juncture.”

Oh really, Mr. Jim Zorn? What juncture are we at? The week of training camp?

Obviously Zorn is trying to hide the fact that the team is interested in the embattled quarterback who spent almost two years in prison for his part in a dog-fighting ring.

“I would just say it won’t be with us, at least at this juncture.”

This answer is what a lot of head coaches are saying. Miami said it.  So did the  San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars and Terrell Owens-led Buffalo Bills.
