Michael Jackson Memorial Post

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, left us this week. His unexpected death shocked the world, and shook the music industry. He was 50. He leaves behind a monkey, an amusement park, four brothers, three sisters and a silver diamond-studded glove.
Somehow, I’ve tied his songs to some problems with the Dallas Cowboys:
“Beat It”
Terrell Owens was released. He graciously accepted a 1-year deal with the Buffalo Bills in the freezing hell of western New York. There seemed to be a bunch of white guys on the Cowboys who were tired of Owens’ locker room antics. Owens has often been accused of being a locker room cancer. But the Cowboys weren’t winning. He’ll make everything bad when you’re losing.
“Thriller”
Felix Jones, even with his shortened rookie season, is certainly a thriller on the field. Having him an entire season is going to add a lot of power on the Cowboys offense. Plus, his ability to return punts is huge. The Cowboys desperately need a special teams threat.
“Bad”
The Washington Redskins. Sorry, I didn’t mean to take a detour, but I just love how Daniel Snyder is forcing the fans to endure Jason Campbell as their quarterback for another year. It’s been four years already, hasn’t it? They are just bad.
“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”
The Dallas Cowboys do. They need to wina playoff game, something that’s eluded the team for almost two decades. The Cowboys have to make and win in the playoggs. They wanna be startin’ somethin’
“Smooth Criminal”
Well now that Adam “Pacman” Jones is out of town, and was never a smooth criminal anyway, the Cowboys Anthony Spencer was pretty smooth this offseason. Well, not really. He tried to pay a bar to stay open longer, and when they refused, he started throwing punches at the bouncers. Genuis.
“Man In The Mirror”
Hi Tony Romo. Meet Tony Romo. If there is one player on the Dallas Cowboys who needs to look in the mirror and see who he really is, that person has to be Romo. He’s a good quarterback. He takes risks. But he has lacked leadership, and he’ll have to find it by staring in the mirror all season long. For the Cowboys to win, Romo needs to play well.

i was never a big micheal jackson fan. i did’nt like all the crazy stuff he did in his life. there’s no gettin around it, the guy acted like he was nuts? i did think he was a great artist, one of the greatest of alltime. he will be dearly missed for his music. he defined the word artist., master of his craft. i did like a few of his songs, but for the most his style was’nt mine? that does not mean i did’nt respect him. i highly did. i’m not a big fan of madonna’s either, but she too has to rank in the top 5 as greatest entertainers in the world? it’s a good arguement? black/white—male/female was never the arguement, it was just my preferred taste not to be big fans of either.
June 30th, 2009 at 5:49 pmi have always been a big fan of larry bird. not because he’s white, but because he’s one of the greatest BB players ever to step on the court. in the top 10 alltime? maybe? but your boss, mr. adam best, i believe crossed the lines when he accussed larry of being a racist and “whitewashing the pacers” . he’s your boss Lhat, i know comments are tight, but that article is speculation and to me just does’nt seem right or fair. when did you ever hear of larry bird being a racist when he played or any other time for that matter? check it out, it’s on fan-sided blogs. i did’nt like it. did you? you don’t have to answer that, i understand.
by the way, nice post. a little humor done in a very classy and respectful way. nice job and very entertaining. the way micheal would have wanted it.

R.I.P The Greatest Entertainer of ALL time
I am wonder everytime i wacht or read about MJ … WHY all the media, his big fans, friends, closed friends, poeple who worked with and for him or being around him, familly who knew and know so well about him… they all did have many, many ,many chances to express their feelings, appreciation, admirarion, love and ect… BUT they did not do or say to him like they are doing it now when he could not hear or feel anymore, when he is gone now…????????
And also for other poeple like me,younger generations learn to know him better like right now so that we would have more clue about him and should have thought ,looked at him in better way…my feeling is coming out together with my tears, sympathy everytime i read about him or watching his performing…how a wonderfull, sucessfull singer, dancer, sweet, kind, good personalities man could survive in this life..???…???…???….There were and are reasons for him to sing: We are the world and We heal the world…Please, poeple try to be a bit good as you thought you should be to the others when you still have chances to do…before it too late…then cry…
Hopefully… This is not just it!!!… for what he has had done in entirely his life !!!
MJ, I know you are in peace - a real peace world now…
