If matters out of Valley Ranch couldn’t get anymore insane, three Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman have formed a heavy metal band they they say is harder than metal.
Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo and Cory Procter are members of Free Reign.
They have one show booked and that’s a fundraiser with DeMarcus Ware. These guys must be great. They are so good that ESPN refused to release even a few seconds of the live footage of these guys blasting their free rock music.
I have to admit, the whole spectacle is a bit weird to see.Leonard Davis looks like a huge freak of nature up on stage and I seriously wonder if he knows how to play bass. Does he? Can someone find me a Leonard David youtube bass video for The Landry Hat Archives?

The funny thing is that I’ve heard them a couple of times already, and they are not bad. Seriously…it’s not my brand of music, but I know decent musicians when I hear them…and they are not bad.
They also just signed a record deal..and..Rock stars make a hell of a lot more than D or O lineman..
I actually believe they probably are OK. But rock stars do not always and these guys would not make more than their NFL salaries.
LOL..I don’t really think they plan on quitting their real jobs..I don’t do Heavy Metal..but..I heard on the radio they are considered quite good..

Take you, me, or davedallasfan… Seems like football’s our life, and it really is. I live breathe and eat Cowboys football, and even I have time for other things =P These guys are allowed to do things other than football..
God it’s just like the people that get pissed at Romo for golfing wtf. Do you get pissed at your Doctor for golfing?

thanks for the compliment KD. you’re right i spend way to much of my down time doin this stuff, wowww. but man do i love football. ; but yes you are right, outside of work, my wife and i enjoy going out together, i love my time on my patio, grillin for my college kids when they come home and bring friends. i get into my yard work and home maintenence. i have now 4 big dogs that really need to be run and exercised. keeps my wife and i very fit. but my wife likes to shop!!!!! so there’s where my football life gets put in…………yeah these guys need the outside of football life too, but i do see L.Hats’ point about worrying about this stuff at this point of the season. focus on the up-coming season is more needed than ever, especially from our O-linemen???? good points either way though.
Yes indeedy, there are two sides to this one. Which is where BALANCE comes into play… And unfortunately that can only be left up to them. I certainly hope the scale tips heavily towards football on this one…
