Brace yourselves.
Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton is apparently looking a little faster after this offseason.
This comes from an article in the Dallas Morning News.
It’s not just the press throwing this news out there. Even Jason Witten thinks Crayton is looking quicker.
“He looks faster, more explosive,” tight end Jason Witten said.
Crayton has been training at the Michael Johnson Performance Center in McKinney, Texas with former strength and conditioning assistant Lance Walker, who echoed Witten’s sentiments.
“He’s figuring out, ‘You know what? I need to start looking for some ways to continue to separate myself,’ ” Walker said. “That’s part of his game. How can he be more efficient? He’s not a 4.2 40 guy, but that’s not his deal. He wants to learn the tricks to help with acceleration.”
It’s encouraging to hear any good news about Cowboys receivers, after Roy Williams has been questioned, possible second receiver candidate Miles Austin has been hurt and Terrell Owens is gone.
Old brick hands Crayton is even looking to reverse his pass dropping ways.
“I’m trying not to put any on the ground this year,” Crayton said.
Is this the year that Crayton lives up to his contract?
I’ll believe it when I see it.

Hell he only had three drops last year, i wouldnt exactly call that brick hands.
That nickname goes back a while, Tiddy:

I will say he was better last year. Way to keep me honest. That nickname just stuck with him so I had to comment on it.
I hope so too, I always like P Cray, but his production was mediocre last season and I know there is alot more potential in the guy.
Lol he doesn’t have brick hands… Only when the game’s on the line vs. the Giants in the final minutes of the 2nd round of playoffs.
But seriously, other than that I think Crayton’s pretty reliable… I never notice many drops.
