If matters out of Valley Ranch couldn’t get anymore insane, three Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman have formed a heavy metal band they they say is harder than metal. Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo and Cory Procter are members of Free Reign. They have one show booked and that’s a fundraiser with DeMarcus Ware. These guys must be great. It’s not just the press throwing this news out there. Even Jason Witten thinks Crayton is looking quicker. “He looks faster, more explosive,” tight end Jason Witten said. The strange part was that I caught myself agreeing with Skip Bayless. We loved the post at Mr. Irrelevant today about Washington Redskins tight end Chrissy Cooley. The Landry Hat had his own face-off with the Cooley Clan here, if you didn’t remember. Jerry Jones is now denying that the Dallas Cowboys have any interested in troubled cornerback and punt returner Adam “Pacman” Jones. I guess that means most fans can breathe a sigh of relief because Pacman’s good days in the NFL as a viable return man and cornerback are pretty much over. He damaged the team in games last season rather than help and his incident at a Texas hotel where he fought with his own bodyguard was just over the top stupid. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones apparently told someone in the press that it is possible–albeit a longhot–that Adam “Pacman” Jones could return with the team this season. Jones, and head coach Wade Phillips, promised to revamp the team and rid the locker room of trouble.
