Dallas Cowboys Have No Interest In Michael Vick

by Cowboys

Jerry Jones told reporters this week that the Dallas Cowboys are just fine with quarterback Tony Romo, and there are no plans to vie for Michael Vick, whom the NFL might reinstate this year.

That is music to my ears. There are plenty of teams who would be more than happy to take the risk on the likes of Vick, but the Cowboys do not need to be among that special group. Maybe Vick could find a home with the Minnesota Vikings, the Miami Dolphins or the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Just keep him out of Dallas.

whats the fuss about, great athlete not so great QB let the skins sign him

I've been sitting on the fence until in the recent couple of weeks, I don't care where he goes... Here or there... But we just flat don't need him, why ruin our image? And if Vick is going to continue to have my neutrality on his situation -- he needs to make massive restitution and go above and beyond for the animal community. He needs to put in what he took, sevenfold.

If you don't let him play for a couple more years, then his career is effectively over. You might think he's a POS, Triple, but the only way for him to really clean up his image and make a difference in the animal lovers community is to do it as an NFL player. He needs that status that comes with being an NFL player to right his wrongs, and Comissioner Goodell knows that. He'll be back this season, but he'll be doing plenty of damage control and he'll be drawing plenty of ire from fans, including the fans of whoever signs him.

I am happy to hear Dallas does not want him.  I dont think he should be reinstated this year.  I think he is a POS and should not be allowed to play football for a couple more years.  Let him go clean up dog shit for animal control or something.

and i sir, agree. yes i think vick deserves to be "forgivin" and should have another chance in the nfl. i just am not a fan of his. will not back him. will not cheer for him. i'm a dog lover, and am loyal to the ones who give endless love in return. treet a dog good, and it will be loyal for life. alot can be said of a man's heart, by the way he treats animals. i have no time for vick. yes let him play again, just not in dallas. and you know what? he ain't that good anyway. anyone know what his passing percentage is?
