Redskins $100 Million Man Albert Haynesworth Is Lawbreaker?

Posted by: thelandryhat

Gee, and here so many of you liberal anti-Dallas Cowboys minority thought it was America’s Team that hired the bad boys and paid the thugs.

Now it looks like face-stomping Washington Redskins Albert Haynesworth is in his own kind of legal trouble.

ESPN has the report here. The ugly fatso was indicted on two misdemeanor traffic charges in Tennessee. Haynesworth faces charges of reckless driving and having expired registration.

According to ESPN, the charges come from a Dec. 13 incident in which police say Haynesworth was trying to pass another driver, who crashed into a concrete median.

Sounds to me like somebody in Tennessee is really bitter about Haynesworth leaving town. Whoever heard of getting INDICTED for having expired registration?!?
If he can rack up a jaywalking charge before camp starts, he’ll be right in Nate Newton territory!!

  2. 2. Erik Says:

no looks like he caused an accident and must pay for it now..hahahahahah Great move SNYDER!!!!!!!!! hahaha what a great way to start!

  3. 3. Fred Sanford Says:

It’s certainly questionable if any player is worth that much money. And Haynesworth has certainly done some things to put his character in question.
But to be indicted on two such measley charges in the grand scheme of things is shameful on some prosecutor’s part. Don’t they issue simple traffic summonses in Tennessee?

After reading the following snippet in the Washington Post, I’ve changed my mind. Throw the bum in jail! Or at least take his license . . . . .

“Four days before the accident, Haynesworth received 30 days’ probation and was fined $1,000 in court fees after he reportedly was driving in excess of 100 mph on an interstate highway. “

I nominate Haynesworth for free agent bust of 2009

  8. 8. Fred Sanford Says:

That’s really going out on a limb Number 9. He’d have to be Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor combined to be worth what the Redskins are paying him.

  9. 9. Mark Says:

I’m not sticking up for the future $100 million bust but a few traffic violations compared to having a strip club shot up is not convincing me that Dallas doesn’t sign the most thugged out criminals available.

30 days probation… Here in Texas you get 90 and a $275 fine in most counties for driving more than 10% over the posted limit. Haynesworth likes to drive fast, big deal. I’d rather quick drivers than drunk ones. Or high ones.

He’ll still be a big bust I think, just because no one can live up to that salary, maybe he’ll take drugs for added energy, like A-Rod.

Annnnnd he’s still a face stomping P.O.S. How can anyone stand up for a player that steps on someone without their helmet on INTENDING to do damage.

Y’all flipped shit when T.O. ALLEGEDLY spit on a guy, so how do you plan on defending that piece of shit?

    kd, baby….YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice shot

  12. 12. Brad Says:

No Albert will have a good year next year THEN he will go back to the way he played for four years. He was always decent but he turned it on last year and got paid for it. I always hear that guys do that, but that is the most obvious situation of it happening. Dont worry Cowboy fans if you remember Andre Gurode was manhandling him all game and the only thing he could do was cleat him while he was laying on the ground. Andre will handle him again. Oh and Fred Sanford and son always baggin the Cowboys for having jail birds on our team, look at you making excuses……what a chump.

  13. 13. Fred Sanford Says:

Brad, if you want to consider having an expired registration a crime worthy of comparision with all your Cowboy criminals, be my guest.
And I didn’t bag on the Cowboys for having jail birds. I bagged on you guys for acting like they were anything but that.
