How Jerry Jones Broke Up With Terrell Owens

AUTHOR: thelandryhat | IN: Cowboys | COMMENTS: 6 Comments |

Stephen Jones, the son of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, gave the scoop on how Terrell Owens was released. I found the story fascinating and you can read it here.

Basically, Jerry told Owens that his team is bigger than T.O. and he has to make a business decision to part ways. But the story details how he did it.

The article also speaks of how Orlando Scandrick is not going to play safety now that the Cowboys signed Gerald Sensabaugh. Alan Ball may be moved to safety, which worries me.

The talk of moving Alan Ball to safety tells me Keith Davis will not be a Cowboy next year. I liked Pat Watkins at safety, he wasn’t amazing but he wasn’t bad.

  2. number_9 says:

Watkins was serviceable but he tends to be injury prone. Alan Ball still has ways to go. with 9 picks in this coming draft the Cowboys better get a true safety.

  3. nate says:

watkins is too beat up to hit another player again. those werent stingers he got last yer. reconstructive shoulder surgery proves it. pat is done.

  4. KD says:

Alan Ball? There are literally, MANY 8th graders that are bigger than that kid. Igor was 6′4″ in 8th grade, he had 5″ on ball!

  5. dallas22cowboys9 says:

i hope he isnt done because watkins is actually a decent safety that could start but obviously he cant stay healthy

  6. Erik says:

KD, Alan Ball is 6-1 178 lbs
