Igor Olshansky is now a Dallas Cowboy. The move reunites him with coach Wade Phillips, a former San Diego Charger-ite.
Olshansky will replace Chris Canty, who jetted for arch rival New York Giants. Phillips is obviously building “his” team the way he wants, and it appears Jerry Jones is just letting him do it. Now, the coach has no excuse not to win. He has to win. Olshansky is a former 2nd round pick of the Chargers and he has five years of experience in the 3-4 defense. He had 187 tackles and nine sacks during his tenure in San Diego.

He is the best pick up so far. I hope there is at least one more. We still need a DT to play behind Ratliff (maybe in the draft), a CB, and I hope that Burnett and K.Davis especially can be resigned. If this is done, things will be set up nicely for the draft.
If there is another free agent pick up, I am going to predict CB. Who would you predict there triplethreat? Lets see if we can do it again.
Here is my guess, and it is just a guess. If it is not him, it likely will be another veteran CB for the right price on a short term deal.
I like this move. Now if we can strike gold like we did in last year’s draft then we should be fine. Anyone know whats going on with Ware’s contract talks??

Olshansky has eleven sacks and 179 tackles and an interception. About the same as Canty. But for much cheaper.
I dont know if there are going to be anymore solid free agent pickups. I think Houston is going to pick up Roy Williams because they need Safeties. That will make it easier for us to pick up William Moore in the Draft and I think Dallas will trade up to get him if they need to. I dont buy Scandrick moving to S because he played pretty well at corner and there is no point creating a hole at CB to fix a hole at S.
