Jerry Jones Gets Angry Over Terrell Owens Questions

AUTHOR: thelandryhat | IN: Cowboys | COMMENTS: 7 Comments |

The press is doing what it is supposed to do and that is really irritating Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

ESPN’s front page report gives very few details of what Jerry said or even where the interview took place (ever hear of who, when and where?)

I think the fact that Jones is getting irritated with the questioning is proof that there is turmoil within the organization on what to do with the controversial Owens. The implosion this season can’t be placed on Owens’ shoulders, but when you have a team end the season they way it did and then have an owner and head coach say major changes are coming and all we get is a new special teams coach and a fired defensive coordinator, your sort of start to get irritated yourself. Right?

Where’s the beef, Jerry?

Firing T. O. is why you will continue to be irritated and frustrated.  You can do better than that can’t you TLH?  A suitable solution to go along with your doom and gloom advice would be  appreciated.  Blaming players you don’t like will not solve the problem.  Being realistic would be a breath of fresh air.  Like firing the offensive line coach, or the defensive backfield coach I could see.  You know, the areas verified as lacking so to speak.

Save that T. O. is the reason why the defensive backfield cant cover or the o-line can’t block talk.  As far as JJ goes he only has himself to blame, inviting hostile forces to spy out perceived faults.  You would have thought he’d learn by now, seems not.  Still though my Boys will fight all opposition and come out on top.  I have faith things will be o.k. dispite your sarcasm.  Go Silver and Blue.

I think Jerry has a legitimate beef.  All the reports in the media are mere speculation — if that’s the media’s job, well that’s not what I was taught in HS journalism class.  Until Jerry makes a final decision, its all talk.

  3. TDCowboys says:

How can you say Jerry being frustrated with the questioning is proof that their is turmoil in the organization with T.O?

”You and I both know that the one that you’re asking about all the time, if I gave you the answer that you want to hear, then you would’ve already had it. So the fact you don’t have it ought to tell you something. It really should,” Jones said.

To me it looks like he’s frustrated that the media keeps asking the same question expecting a different answer. No where in that quote do I see “proof” their is T.O turmoil in the organization. Also I read every other statement in that article and im baffled that you can write a bogus post like this and state the quotes you read are “proof”  Give it a rest!

  4. jerry just answered the question. owens is staying, because if he was’nt, he’d be gone already. and jerry will never get rid of anyone that produces like owens on the football field. jerry also says that he does’nt hold alot of stock in the “locker room” situation. these guys are paid professionals, not high school kids. yeah, i agree, give it a rest already

  5. KD says:

He’s frustrated with the media because he called them to talk about the stadium and George Strait, and they of course call on the TO questions.

I understand the media would rather report on TO than a Country Music superstar, however that’s like calling your child to your deathbed to say goodbye and they just want to talk about the will and inheritance. Just not very classy, to say the least. Jerry will get to TO in due time.
