DeMarcus Ware Gets Zero MVP Votes

DWare is a decent person, but he's almost as bad of a tipper as Chris Canty. And not one of us gaga cowboys fans even bothered him.

DWare didn't get a vote because he didn't come up big at the end of the season, which isn't entirely his fault.

He had the same problem as Drew Brees.  Most people consider the "valuable" aspect of the MVP to be most important.  He can only be so valuable to his team if he couldn't get them into the playoffs. 

Peyton Manning got his team into the playoffs.  With him they won 13 games and are in as a wild card.  Without him, it's unlikely they make the playoffs at all.  Ware had some great performances but his team wasn't able to turn that into wins, so he wasn't as valuable to his team (through no real fault of his own; the team just couldn't take advantage of his stellar performance the way the Colts could take advantage of Manning).  Therefore Peyton added more value to his team than Ware did.  That's the rationale anyway. 

Either way, it was fun watching Peyton lose in overtime.

DWare was ROBBED!!  I agree that the voters will never allow a Cowboy to get that kind of accolades.  It is sad because this is an individual award and he is a hell of a player.   I thought the award was for Most Valuable "Player", not Most Valuable "Team".

Im not surprised The NFL MVP award is usually reserved for a QB or a RB but Ware did deserve some recognition.

I think Ware should've recieved votes, but his team choking down the stetch again didn't help. It just shows once again the media are groupies for qbs. They are either too lazy or too arrogant to look beyond a qb's play to see why teams are successful.
Remember Farve won 3 MVP's during Emmitt, Thruman and Barry dominating the league.  In Manning's defense he made things happen in a year where you needed a running game to survive and he didn't have one.

I see Harrison from Pitt. got some votes, but Ware gets nothing?

I believe DWare deserves defensive MVP. Mark my words fellow Cowboy fans he will not get it . Sports writers and voters other than fans have a vendetta to give individual Cowboys nothing. Well I hope I am wrong but I wont be.

I saw him on Madden Nation and he seemed like a genuinely decent person...

that can play like a madman.

He definitely deserved consideration.

I agree Ware is awesome. He deserved to be considered.
