Tony Romo skipped practice today for an illness that was not revealed immediately. The cold, flu and stomach bugs are going around this time of year, as I am home sick myself.
But Romo’s illness, serious enough to keep him from practicing, could be very dangerous for the Dallas Cowboys. We’ve seen what the backup quarterback duo of Brad Johnson and Brooks Bollinger can do, so Romo has to play unless he’s got liver failure or something. Still, if he is not at 100 percent, it could spell trouble for the Cowboys, who are playing a Philadelphia Eagles team in their hell-hole. The Eagles also have a slim chance at making the playoffs, too.
