Dallas Cowboys Overpower New York Giants
The Dallas Cowboys continued their run to the playoffs in December with a convincing 20-8 win over the New York Giants.
The Cowboys defense had eight sacks and two interceptions, both by Terence Newman. DeMarcus Ware was a beast.
What happened to all of the drama? The Cowboys made the press look silly. Ed Werder looks like he will be getting The Landry Hat douchebag of the week award. Congrats Ed!
How about rookie Tashard Choice? Wow! That kid played with heart and looked like a mini Marion Barber, who was obviously not 100 percent tonight.
The Cowboys are peaking. Right now, they have the fifth spot in the playoffs with the Ravens and Eagles left.
At the end of the game, Tony Romo said Jason Witten and Terrell Owens drummed up the entire debacle to take the pressure of the game. Of course, he was being facetious, but none of that drama showed during the game. Witten said he had no idea how he was brought into the middle of the debacle, but he is a better player because of Owens and Romo.
Owens said he thought it was Ed Werder’s “lack of professionalism” to report some stuff that he said were untrue.

I request a LandryHat video blog with Ed Werder as the special guest ! ! !
December 15th, 2008 at 12:55 amWhat a great game. I’m putting in my order for a DeMarcus Ware jersey as we speak. He was an absolute monster. I was also glad to see Chris Canty, Bradie James and Anthony Spencer getting some sacks. Our defense really looked good tonight. But in saying how good we looked, I can’t help but say how bad the Giants looked. The Giants are weak sauce right now. Losing Plaxico Burress hurts worse than Giants fans are willing to admit. He could be the one to take the ignoble title of “team obliterator” from Terrell Owens. He’s the frontrunner for the NFL Dumbass of the Year award right now, barring another Pacman screwup, Chris Henry arrest or anything unseen.
December 15th, 2008 at 1:11 ami’m on a hunger strike until ed werder makes an apperance on a blog.
December 15th, 2008 at 1:25 ami meant vlog…no excuse me while i throw away these nilla wafers.
December 15th, 2008 at 1:26 amIf nothing changes, we would play either Arizona, or the winner of the NFC North on the road if the first round of the playoffs
The only way we play again at Home is if we are the #1 wildcard winner (#5 seed) and we play the #2 wildcard winner (#6 seed) in the NFC championship. The division winners are ranked #1-#4 and they get the Home games regardless of their record
December 15th, 2008 at 1:28 amI feel vindicated..After being a Giants fan for the Super Bowl..and getting it stuck back in my face by Giants fans..It is nice to shut them the f**k up..’
December 15th, 2008 at 1:39 amGo Cowboys..The stats will be easy this week..last week were hard..
Romo looked great..Ware is a monster..and Newman rocks..
Dan I know you don’t like them, but even you might enjoy this. Kissing Suzy Kolber has a clip of a Dallas Cowboy fan heckling Werder while he’s trying to film a clip for ESPN. Werder sounds like a tool.
December 15th, 2008 at 9:57 amThe Cowboys are certainly playing some great December football. They’re looking like a serious threat. The G-Men couldn’t get a god damn thing rolling on offense. They were simply smothered. Eight sacks? Impressive to say the least. I’m only seeing the Panthers as a team that can stop them in the playoffs if the current trends continue…As for the media bullcrap, ignore it and play football.
December 15th, 2008 at 11:09 amAs happy as I am about that win, we shouldnt even be talking about the playoffs yet. Tampa and Atlanta both have a lot softer schedule left and could easily win out which of course means we have to win out against considerably tougher opponents. Right now we need to be worring about a tough Ravens team and not who we might play in the playoffs.
December 15th, 2008 at 12:28 pmamen, poopsatan???? something just did’nt sound right about that??????
December 15th, 2008 at 12:31 pmplayoffssss????? playoffsss?????
December 15th, 2008 at 12:33 pmyou are right there good man, we got to get thru the toughest part of our schedule now. they say the toughest game is always your next one. they be right. and then philly? we got our work cut out for us boys, but with that said hey enjoy the win, and it’s back to business sat. hey we are gonna face an older beat up defense, and a rookie qb? thats the way we have to break it down. if we get to flaco like we got to eli we’ll win. does’nt this look eriely like the giants last year with the pass rush? woowoohooo
December 15th, 2008 at 12:38 pmI dont know how many have been to nfl.com but Deion and them are all over Ed Werner for his stupid report. Look at their highlights they are making fun of him during it. Then during the discussion Deion tells how stupid it was for him to talk about this team just for a story. Great game lets keep it up.
December 15th, 2008 at 1:02 pmyes, T.E.X.A.S. i have been watching that too. deion is our man. he’s still loyal to the cowboys and he remains close to jerry jones. hell i think jerry still owes him money or something? now everyone is starting to say that werder was just lookin for some shit on the cowboys to stir the pot and maybe werder is lookin for a job behind the camera in the studio? better clean the gum off the bottom of his shoe first. next thing you know he’ll be throwin that shoe at president bush or something? hey was that werder??????????????hahahahah
December 15th, 2008 at 1:31 pmGreat Win!! Wade has turned this defense around. Once our offense catches fire its a done deal. This victory was huge fellas, the giants couldnt get into the endzone, and the defense made Eli do that pout face that everyone knows so well.
With that said im not worried about the next 2 games. This team is good enough to go all the way, point blank. You cant say were a superbowl team and then second guess our chances to win these next games. We will be in the playoffs and we will win.
December 15th, 2008 at 2:46 pmI just listened to ESPN radio it was the 3:00 show and I dont know who the guy is I hardly listen to ESPN due to their lousy reports. The guy sounds like a damn hillbilly when he talks. Anyways him and the rest of his team were all standing up for Ed Werder and all the other BS. It was also stupid because a guy named Matt Mosley was all acting tough like he was sticking up to T.O. in the tunnels saying Owens was calling him a chump. Then to make it even better the other guys on the radio were like we know you would have took him. It was just stupid I couldnt stand it I wanted to beat their face in.
December 15th, 2008 at 6:23 pmWell Deon is loyal to a certain faction of the Cowboys..He was all over the criticism of Romo a couple of weeks ago..but..If there was nothing ..why did Wade hold a 30 minute players only meeting?..overblown yes..but nothing is not logical..
December 15th, 2008 at 7:15 pmIf however..it makes them play like they did Sunday night..Let’s find something for this week..
