Our stats engineer Bevomav pulled an interesting stat today for The Landry Hat. In the last six games, in which the Dallas Cowboys are 3-3, they have had a real hard time scoring points early. Here is a review of the first quarter scoring differential:

61-7!!!! The Rams stat is just scary. The Cowboys last year had a hard time starting games off with a lot of offensive power, but they would pull away late, oftentimes in grand fashion. It is hard to determine why this is happening. What I will have Bevo try to do is pull the first quarter scoring differentials for all NFC teams that are currently in the running for a playoff spot. I can only suspect the Cowboys will be dead last in the category.
