Miles Austin Out For Weeks

The Star-Telegram is reporting that wide receiver Miles Austin is out for at least a few weeks, and possibly more. You can read it here. Austin apparently injured his knee in the game against the Washington Redskins.

The injury merry-go-round in Dallas is getting a bit crazy. Hopefully, Felix Jones can return to shake up the offense a little bit. The Cowboys haven’t exactly had the powerhouse offensive games expected with so many studs on the team.

Knock on wood but it seemed everyone was worried about Barber getting injured due to his tough running style. So far its been the rest of the team.

Just when he was proving himself to be the third receiver. sigh

Too many injuries this year...wonder if that has anything to do with soft practices during training camp?...

Felix is practicing today.  All signs point to him playing this week.

e have 2 games in 10 days... but so do the Seahawks...

If I remember correctly Amendola had a pretty solid case of the dropsies returning punts in the pre-season.  If he is activated I don't see him touching the ball without further injury to the WR corps.

Not at all, I have been a loyal reader since I found the site just before the season started...I couldn't disagree more with that poster... I see us @ 11-5 or possibly 10-6...for sure a wild-card team... 2 games in 10 days will be tough, but that's what we do... we will not loose 3 games ...no way.

DoomsDay,

welcome. First time here? According to one poster, he sees the Cowboys going 9-7, which means they lose three more games and win three.

Funny about Felix..Haven't heard a word..but I guess practice starts today..Amendola returns punts..Just a thought..

I strongly feel that Felix will be back this week, we need him to get back to game speed before the Gauntlet that is the Cowboys schedule after '49ers and Seattle.

Also, I wonder who will jump in for kick returns if Felix isn't back and Austin is out.  Scandrick?

God dammit.  Austin has been solid.  This sucks!

Not good news..Crayton had better step up..He is about it as far as receivers go..Unless they want to unleash Amendola..lol..
