Terry Bradshaw Makes Bold Prediction

by Cowboys

Goofy former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback turned football analyst Terry Bradshaw made a few bold predictions today on FOX, but I thought I’d share with you what he said about the Dallas Cowboys.

He predicted that the Cowboys would miss the playoffs, Wade Phillips would be fired and that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, the highest paid coordinator in the NFL, would not be promoted to get the coaching job.

None of it would be entirely shocking, maybe a little if the Cowboys did end up missing the playoffs. But if the Cowboys do not win a Super Bowl, Phillips should be fired, and Garrett should not be promoted. Garrett has not earned it, and the Cowboys could go after someone like Bill Cowher or the defensive coach for the Giants, Steve Spagnuolo

No matter what, the Cowboys should stay clear of current coordinators for the team and college coaches. Spagnuolo, Cowher or stay status quo.

Bradshaw also predicted that the New York Giants would face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl.

I guess we can feel relief that Bradshaw is not being bias.

Too bad there are not more former Cowboy players we could bring here like Jack Del Rio. May Dat Nguyen will make a good head coach someday.

Seems like Middle Linebackers make good coaches. We need someone with toughness and passion

danzinski - you not only need medical help you are a disgrace to both football fans and Polish people everywhere.  Get off this site and go find a psyco ward site for your gratification.

I predict Terry Bradshaw will die in a terrible tractor-related accident.

Gmen, what ever you are smoking please pass it around.  Dallas and Philly taking over the east.  Dallas probably will never get out of the basement.  Look for a BIG house cleaning after the season.  Top to bottom.  I laugh like hell when I compare the salaries to the statistics.  Giants, Philly and Washington have football players we have "stars" and prima donnas.  BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The sad truth is that half the NFC East is sitting out of the playoffs, even though we're better than just about everyone else. We're all going to beat up eachother too much to get a good enough record to take both wild card slots.

I don't buy it. The Giants might slump and they might be one and done in the playoffs, but they'll still take the division. They just have too much of a lead.  And their schedule isn't that much tougher than anyone else in the NFC East.

In fact, now that I look at it, the Giants and the Cowboys share 4 opponents in the final 7 games.  I'll grant you that two of the remaining three (49ers and Seahawks at Dallas) are softer, but the third is the steelers.

5 of the 7 remaining opponents (Ravens, Cards, and the NFC East) are identical for the Giants and Eagles.

4 of the 7 remaining Redskins opponents are identical to the Giants.

So we're talking of a difference of 2-3 games here.  Considering they have a 3 game lead over the Eagles and Cowboys and a 2 game lead over the Redskins, that negates any additional difficulty the Giants schedule may have right there.  And Arizona is not nearly as tough away as it is at home, and the Vikings aren't exactly powerhouses with Gus Frerotte at the helm.
I officially call bullshit on the GMen.

The Redskins will plummet also, i'm not being bias or anything, i hate the cowgirl forskins and the shmeagles..... But just the way the cards are falling...

The giants have the hardest second half schedule in the league... I hate to say it, but i see the Cowboys and Eagles taking hold of this Division, i think the Redskins and Giants will fight out of the basement and for the # 2 Wild card spot...

Romo coming back is going to have the Cowboys psyche amped up and Westbrook is healthy... this is going to be a grueling second half... I just don't see the skins as a true contender.

I think the Giant will plummet in the second half of the season...

MARK MY WORDS...

The only way Romo can come back & play strong is if fans stay the hack out of his personal life & management lets the guy play football the way he knows how to play. It was not just Romo trying to make changes in how he plays etc. Hopefully he figured it all out like he has commented he has. Let Tony play ROMO football.

I agree with what you said. The Cowboys face a big challenge in that division but I like their chances if Romo can come back and play strong, and if Newman can shore up that secondary. I wish your team good luck and  I would love to see your boys kick DeAngelo Hall's ass next week at Washington.
