Mike Jenkins won’t be starting in two weeks when the Dallas Cowboys return from the bye to face the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. The rookie wussy isn’t being benched because of his soft play, but because Terence Newman is expected to return and take his job back.
In other news, the Dallas Cowboys do not appear to be interested in DeAngelo Hall, the cornerback who the Crazy Raiders dropped yesteray. But two teams that are interested in his services are the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants. Great. Is that really what the Cowboys want to happen? They can snag him on the cheap, and who here wants to tell me Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick will be better than Hall right now, even if he doesn’t know the playbook? Please. Come on!

I have to agree with Brad, though it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we went after D Hall. Scandrick has been playing well. And Jenkins will come along too. Having Hall would allow Henry to move over to safety, but I don’t see that happening. The negative thing about getting Hall now that he’s an unrestricted free agent, is that we would have to get in a bidding war with other teams to get him. And he’s not good enough to get into all that. He could demand millions and we don’t need to sign him in that case. Let Scandrick and Jenkins continue to grow. Every rookie sucks every now and then
On a separate topic, it would be interesting to know who everyone is pulling to win in the NYG vs PHI game. What do you guys think? at this point I think NYG has the division locked up (though I could be wrong), and so I’d rather them knock off PHI so that, by beating WASH the next week, we would move into 2nd place in the division. What yall think?
Good thing Hall is not coming to Dallas. He would just end up being a locker room cancer. ugh…I hope NY beats philly. On that note I might go to philly and make a cheesesteak run.
