The Dallas Cowboys might want to strongly consider working out a deal for DeAngelo Hall to shore up the secondary. Hall was surprisingly cut today by the Oakland Raiders, another crazy move from the weirdo Al Davis himself.
The move comes just eight games into signing him to a $70 million, 7-year deal. Hall struggled with the Raiders man-to-man defense, and the Raiders did not want to give the Pro Bowler time to rebound. This opens the door for the Cowboys to grab a player they should have grabbed in the offseason. He’ll come a lot cheaper now after the release.
There were a lot of fans who wanted Hall earlier, and the Cowboys didn’t make the move. Now is the time. He’ll come at a good price.
Terence Newman has been injured all year and the rookie cornerbacks have not been that solid. The Cowboys could cut Anthony Henry and give Hall a spot right away.
