Tony Romo said on Terrell Owens radio show today that he will not play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Bucs. His pinkie is not close to being healed and he may miss the Giants game, too. It was estimated early he could miss up to four weeks.
Brad Johnson will start his second game, after throwing three interceptions agains the St. Louis Rams last week. The Dallas Cowboys are 4- with the Giants (2), Redskins, Eagles and Steelers still left on the schedule. The Bucs game might seem like the easier one of the bunch, despite their strong record.

I must say that this news is devastating. However, we should remember that the Giants went 10-6 and won the Super Bowl last year. It CAN be done! Let’s not give up hope just yet. Maybe Romo can still play against the Giants…
I will say that I think we should go with Bollinger against the Bucs. He is a younger guy with a stronger arm, and perhaps can avoid pressure a little better than the statuesque Brad “Sure, you can sack me” Johnson. The Bucs’ D is no joke! We will need a spark this week on offense, and maybe BB can give it.
Lastly, our defense HAS to force some turnovers. That is the real reason we got beat by the Rams. Our defense has to step it up and play like men!!
can’t JJ call Culpepper. At least he is more mobile.
Culpeper? Johnson? Wash. Let’s just deal with it for now and see if he can win one of these damn games.
When the name “Bollinger” starts to be passed around as a potential savior of the team, you know things are desperate….
RG,
I COULDN’T AGREE MORE!
Bollinger has a better chance of being a little more effective, if that makes sense
Bollinger is the man we have all spoken hopefully Jerry will read our blog..LOL
I think you’re better off hoping that Troy Aikman unretires. Since we’re talking about pipe dreams that will never happen anyway.
Please no more Testaverde impersonations. Can’t we get a good back up. Many of us saw the signs during preseason.
