The smart play here is to have Romo dress up as the 3rd string emergency QB or as the backup. Why get him beat up for a game against the Rams?  I can respect that he wants to play, even if he did need to get called out before it happened.  But the coaching staff needs to have the balls to tell their players "no" once in a while. I hope he does play, because that's better for the Redskins and worse for the Cowboys.  But the smart move would be to let him sit and heal up. Steam’s right.
