Plaxico Burress Damages Rental Car In “Family Emergency”
by Carden Hedelt aka MBIIIEffect
Plaxico Burress can’t keep out of trouble. Not only did he dodge calls from the NY Giants after a no-show at practice, but he has been ignoring the calls of a claims service trying to contact Burress about a rental suburban he returned with $1,759 dollars in damage.
You can read about it in this article.
The last line in the article is classic from Randy Harris, president of Khoury Alternative Claims Management, talking about Burress: “
“No response at all,” a disgusted Harris said. “He’s a bum.”
This whole Plaxico thing is getting stranger and stranger. Why would he need to rent a Suburban and why would it come back with nearly $1,800 worth of damage? Why would he split?

I’d rather have my top WR pissing and moaning on the sidelines than acting like a criminal.

October 8th, 2008 at 5:31 pmi agree. at least we know he’s “in” the football game.
October 8th, 2008 at 6:24 pmhas anyone heard the latest about the civil siut that is being filed against marvin harrison by the guy that was shot with the gun that was owned by harrison???? can any of you imagine if this was owens in the middle of this??? this is what i’m trying to say. we see enough shit that gets thrown at our boys. so much more scrutiny than anywhere else in the nfl…….why isn’t harrison getting raped by the press like owens always does.? bescause they sensationalize everything owens does and they get to him from hit emotionally. hell i don’t even think harrison blinked at this, and this could land him in some more trouble in civil court. all owens does is say he wants the ball more and he’s accused of tearing the cowboys apart internally……what the fuck????????????? pisses me off
October 8th, 2008 at 6:46 pmand this plastic shit????? if this was owens???? you see guys we ain’t got it too bad…. yeah we got a wr that likes to spout off a little. wants the ball on every play…..maybe we should give it to him????? but come sunday he puts out all the way……he’s a winner and he’s a cowboy……and he’s the best in the game
October 8th, 2008 at 6:50 pmBoy, you guys sure are defensive about Owens. The main reason he gets more attention than guys like Burress and Harrison is because he seeks it, he loves it and he’s not boring. Other than Chad Johnson, I can’t think of another WR who seeks it more.
October 8th, 2008 at 7:00 pmAs for Burress, I guess that contract extension he just signed didn’t provide him enough money to buy a car of his own or to pay for the damages to the one he rented.
I’m losing my patience with T.O. I’m ready for Anquan Boldin.
October 8th, 2008 at 8:17 pmT.O. is now saying he had a death in the family. I’m the last person to make light of that sort of thing, so I guess I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. I can’t help but wonder how the media scrutiny missed this if it truly was someone close to him though. But hey, I say give him a break. He got the game winning touchdown. If he behaved a little strangely, well…so what?
October 8th, 2008 at 9:42 pmDon’t ever use that name on this site again you dirty scumbag. You will never own this site. In fact, you are one negative post away from being banned. I banned my first person last week.
October 8th, 2008 at 9:43 pmOh stop being silly TLH. I’m gonna ban you….waaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
October 8th, 2008 at 9:59 pmI’m not one to defy local rules, so I changed my name. But just because I’m curious…how exactly can you ban me when I don’t have an account here? Don’t make empty threats, especially when I’m a law-abiding citizen of the Fan-sided network and you could just ask.
We still own this place. You just pay rent.
