Eagles Fans Needs Mental Counseling

The Philadelphia Eagles fans continue to raise awareness of what it means to be a vile, disgusting mental case of a fan. After the demeaning loss to the Washington Redskins, Eagles fans erupted. They took out their anger on the departing Washington Redskins busses.

The Washington Post had a report about it today here, and Deadspin touched on the unfortunate event here

“They were lighting it up,” Devin Thomas said.

“I’m talking about whoop,” Malcolm Kelly said.

“I’m talking about the middle of the bus, like, bammmm, like busted and everything,” Kedric Golston said. “I ain’t never been thrown eggs at. I mean, at Philly, they throw everything.”

Rumor has it that even Ian, the blogger at InsidetheIggles, participated in this raucous moment. He hasn’t admitted so on his blog, but I have heard from two sources he may have been involved. He is the guy who cheered when Michael Irvin had his career-ending injury against the Eagles. That’s Ian, allright.

What a classy bunch of fans, eh?

I'm always right! I know everything! Bwa ha ha!
Seriously, you can't compare the current Redskins to the Steve Spurrier era.  That's just absurd and as several of you pointed out, pointless.  It's a completely different team.  For a long long long long LOOOOOONG time you guys totally and completely owned us.  Ten freaking losses in a row. That shit goes to a man's head you know?  I'm not ashamed to say that on a certain thanksgiving game when Stephen Davis fumbled away what looked to be a win to break that losing streak, I totally lost my shit.  But Stephen Davis is retired and hasn't been a Redskin for years and years.

But those days are over.  The Tony Romo era has a very different record against the skins and as you guys are pointing out, things that happened to Spurrier and Shottenheimer are about as relevant as me pointing out what happened during the Dave Campo regime.  Less relevant actually, since Campo is actually a coach on the Cowboys team once again.
We've had your number in recent history. Sometimes we had it with fluke last minute touchdowns to Santanna Moss.  Sometimes with bizarre blocked field goals that get returned with a face mask penalty.  But for whatever reason, we've had your number.  And I LOVE it!  Peace.

i will give you that to a point he is right

Steve, RG is right, to a point.  The Cowboys of today are not the same team as the Cowboys of the past 3 decades. We should only measure the worth of a team by what they have done since the current roster has been together, that includes the coaches. That goes the same for the Skins.  That 56-39 record or even the 2-5 record against the skins matters not one penny today.  Currently the skins have us 1-0, and that's all that matters. Having said that, those 5 rings still look good....and I'm still hopeful we get a sixth this year.  Romo needs to Man-Up and lead this team instead of sulking on the sidelines after every series. Am I the only one that noticed that. He just sits on the bench and hangs his head.  Chill out, wake up and play the game the way you learned it.  We've got faith in you Romo, just do it. Rant over :-)

I think the NFL should consider moving teams out of cities that cannot control their fans and put the players of other teams in jeopardy.  That's just obscene that Philly has always been nothing but a bunch of sore losers and the NFL turns a blind eye.  Maybe they should start with taking money away from the team for each incident and see if the team can get the city to chill things out.  If the city wants a team for their revenue, they should help keep the peace.

funny you only go back 2005 lets go back to 2000 it will be 11-6 cowboys or lets go back to the start of all of this it will be 56-39

Whoops, sorry. I'm an idiot. Make that five out of the last seven we've played.  Soon to be six of the last eight.

TD, you got the last touchdown because we were playing prevent defense.  We were up by 9 points with two minutes to go and the time of possession was close to 40 minutes for us.  Maybe we didn't quite kick your ass, but we did dominate both sides of the ball and it was a very convincing win in Dallas.

Also? We own you.  Last I checked, Redskins have won four out of the last five games we've played against you.  And that'll be five out of six when you come to DC.  Don't cry when we humiliate you.  It's unseemly.

RG you won by two points thats not an ass kicking at all when your team played the best football they have ever played in a long time and still could have lost that game if Hurd makes the onside catch. Take your win and run

Phillys murder rate has skyrocketed recently, its a hellhole, i had about 5 friends at Philly colleges, they were all very happy to graduate and get out needless to say and talked about how they saw the city decline over their 4 years... so yea they probably dont have cops there....... also, why are people surprised about this. Philly fans boo Santa Clause, they are bitter people because the only championship their city has seen is an Arena Football trophy... Historic rivalries have taught me to hate the redskins the most, but I have found that Philly fans are much much much more combative than either Giants or Redskins fans

Do they have cops in that city?

They egged the bus? Sweet.

Uh-uh I see an unholy alliance happening ;-)

At least he can admit when his team gets its ass handed to them.  He doesn't start bitching and whining about field goals because one angle kinda maybe looked a little suspect even though nobody actually at the stadium seemed to think so.
