Let’s not forget this game and how Miles Austin played. Austin heads into this week’s big matchup on cloud 9. But can he keep his play up? In all honestly, he only had two catches, but those two catches totaled 115 yards and a touchdown.
But it is not guaranteed he will see more play time this week against the Washington Redskins.
Sam Hurd is improving and might see action Sunday. Hurd, who is the Cowboys No. 3 receiver, would end up taking valuable field time away from Austin.
This won’t matter if Hurd steps up. Sounds like the Cowboys have a good competition going on in their own locker room. This can only make both receivers better.
