if you look at the green bay games this year outside the lines is pretty hard to throw completions to.

you can look at the game recaps on nfl.com and see big numbers for calvin johnson...... but that was mostly in garbage time and it was in the middle where witten was doing the same for us..... you saw them keep putting owens in the slot for that game romo knew it was to risky.

in the philly game half romo's targets and 2/3 of his completions were to our stars owens, witten, barber... crayton caught 2 of the 3 passes he was sent

miles austin is our hank baskett AS OF NOW. he can get a big play but can he do it consistently?

with all the moves jerry's done lately if crayton is his biggest mistake.... it's too small to even care about

Brad, welcome to thelandryhat. The opinions here are solely mine and I was certainly in the minority on this post. With that said, I see absolutely nothing wrong with putting pressure on Crayton. Romo did throw to him. He dropped it. Why try more?

Patrick Crayton had 6 catches for 82 yards in the game against Cleveland. He has had two bad games and you are all ready to get rid of him.You know T.O. had 2 catches for 17 yards against Green Bay.If tony is not looking his way he cant catch the ball.If other aspects of the game are working well why does he HAVE to be catching balls as long as he does what he is supposed to when Tony looks his way its all good to me.When he has a 5 catch 90 yard game and a touchdown I hope you write something good about him.

Iron Man was right. The only reason Baskett gets any production at all is because the defenses occasionally don't bother to cover him at all. He's just that bad.

I say keep Crayton cuz no one will trade for him. Acquire another #2 WR and let Crayton line up along TO, the new guy, and Witten, and we will be unstoppable. For the most pary, Crayton is reliable and has made a LOT of plays for us (remember the last second catch in Buffalo last year to set up Nick FOlk for the game-winner?). Still, there is more talent out there. I'd love to have Boldin or Williams. Preferably Boldin.

Hank Baskett. Jeez. I mean, Ian sounds more ridiculous than I have ever sounded on this site. You could go through every one of my posts, and some are just out there, and none will compare to the complete dump talk you do in here. Hank Baskett? My freaking holy moly. Ian, do you realize that Donovan McNabb, once again, will not be finishing the season. He won't be going past week 9. And when we face the Eagles, rather the Iggles, on the very last game of the year, the Cowboys defense will see a kid named Kolb. And maybe, just maybe, Kolb will play like Aaron Rodgers did last season--I mean he put a scare into us after Brett Favre was injured--but come up short. He will come up short. But he'll gain some confidence. And so will the Eagles brass. So, by next season, you douchebags get yourselves a controversy. Do we keep oft-injured McNabb for the last miracle drive, or do we go to the kid and hope we made the right selection?
<div>Ian, it doesn't matter. </div>
<div>Now, Hank Baskett. Are you effing serious!!>????</div>

It's okay guys, next year Boldin will fall in our laps....then everyone is in trouble!!

Ian, i hate you so much, but i agree that Curtis is WAY better than Crayton. However, don't go getting carried away... Hank Baskett is a jobber, he has those catches because teams don't bother to cover him.
