Terence Newman May Play Against Eagles

Terence Newman is feeling like his groin is fine and he is good enough to play Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Apparently, coach Wade Phillips isn’t ready to announce if he will play, let alone start.

Newman, who did not play in the season opener at Cleveland because of a groin injury, worked with the first team and even intercepted a pass on a deep ball Thursday.

Do we want Newman out on the field if he is not 100 percent? It’s hard to sprint with a lingering groin injury.
