Adam Jones is SAFE! Sam Hurd is OUT!

Roger Goodell has given Adam Jones a second chance in the NFL. This time, he will play for the Dallas Cowboys, America’s Team.

Jones is rusty and it may take him a few games, possibly even half the season, for him to get back into tip-top pass coverage shape. But let it be known that he will return to the top-tier of cornerbacks in the NFL, which is exactly what the Cowboys need.

In other news, third wide receiver Sam Hurd sprained his ankle in a meaningless preseason game against the meaningless Vikings, you know, the team that has a blogger who hates Jason Witten? Just bring on Anquan Boldin please. PLEASE!

Let’s get this season started!

Tom, you should be ashamed.  Do not insult Dan and the Landry Hat because of his sexual orientation.  Just don't go there.  This is 2008 and if he wants to have sexual fantasies about a tight end, who the hell are you to judge?

Dan's man-love for Jason Witten is rivaled only by Ian's man-love for Donovan McNabb.  It's just that Dan is smart enough to keep his half-naked pics of JW to himself while Ian posts them on his blog.

Personally I think it's great that Dan can be so open with his sexuality.  Dan, don't you listen to Tom or any of those other ignorant hate-mongers.  You just keep being you!!!

Looks like Felix Jones may get a lot more chances at WR. Maybe Choice will be the change-up runner more frequently while that happens. And Maybe Adam Jones will be in for a few to stir things up. Now I do not want to hear anything about someone holding up a poster of a naked lady in the end zone just to speed up Adam at WR to help him, err, score. I will not hear any of that! ;-)

Felix is the man!

Tom,
Don't come here and disrespect us. We are just not going to tolerate those who criticize the best NFL tight end just out of envy, anger or jealousy.

im sorry i was vulgar, i meant how bad to you want to fellate jason witten?

Yeah, you guys are like, one player away from a superbowl package. There's nothing wrong with trading a way several #1 draft picks for a quality player who will put you over the edge. Just ask Hershal Walker.

I say pull the trigger. Whatever it takes, make the move. The future is NOW!!!

how bad do you want to [edited for vulgarity]? be honest.

There's a video of Jerry saying that he doesn't want to move for a WR because our current WR's will be healthy before someone new could learn our system. He either means it or he's playing this one really close to the chest. I still think we need to get somebody good because I don't like our receiver group. Stanback is too fragile for the NFL. I'm not sure that Hurd and Austin are ever going to progress beyond this level of performance ever. Crayton doesn't do it for me. T.O. is great, but for how much longer will he be great?

I say lose a first rounder next year and maybe a defensive player (Cardinals always need defenders) like Carpenter to get Boldin.

I think Jerry needs to do what ever it takes to go get Boldin.  I dont care if its giving up two first rounders, our team is loaded for the next four to five years, all thats missing is another good reciever.  Besides those first rounders would just be the number 31 or number 32 pick anyways.

lmao i heard he was at hooters to

as far as sam hurd eh... im really starting to like Martellus Bennett who's to say using 2 TE's most instead of 3WR mostly wouldnt suffice

You had better hope he stays clean. I hear he got the news that he was reinstated while at Hooters.
