It was the most unbelievable controversy of the year, and if you watched the whole interview with reporters at his locker, everybody was laughing, and he was obviously joking. Whenever a reporter puts out a quote, they usually don't tell you what the mood and situation was like, or the context of the quote. Now as for Owens, for him to be speaking about this almost eight months later, tells me that the situation was not handled appropriately. Phillps and Garrett, and I'm sure they did, needed to have a conversation with Owens to explain their reasoning as to why they deferred from Owens. Both sides should have expressed their feelings and compromised, agreeing to move on. For Owens to be making these comments now, tells me that the issue went unresolved, and the situation wasn't talked out. If coaches or players allow issues to be ignored, the disagreements can spill out into the media. I don't know anything about Matt Mosley, but I know he went fishing on Tuesday. This is something he told a reporter months after it happened and you can almost garuntee his words were twisted and to quote Oops, am I screwing up the whole "T.O. has changed" storyline. Spencer, the backup to Greg Ellis at one of the outside linebacker spots, will miss two to four weeks after having a loose chip removed. damn all of a sudden all of our depth is thinning....i dont like it ....
