Kevin Burnett Going Under Knife

Kevin Burnett, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker who also has a blog, will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. This is a procedure that usually keeps a player out for a month. Burnett has always had knee problems, and this is his fifth surgery for several injuries. Despite this, he has only missed three games, according to the Dallas Morning News.

In his blog, Burnett says it is a “minor setback” and he will make a “major comeback.”

I thank you all for your Prayers. I’m ok, I can’t release any details right now but I’m ok. I will keep you posted once the dust settles. Even though we have our spats I really enjoy blogging with you guys. Look for an update after the 2nd practice.

In other news, did anyone else think Hard Knocks last night was completely uneventful, even boring, at times? I will say this: Martellus Bennett better get his act together because right now he looks liked a wasted No. 2 pick. I much rather have the level-headed Anthony Fasano right now. He just seems like an immature, lazy, over-hyped punk.
